So the wife asks me today about what to get for Christmas! Instantly my eyes widened and I looked outside to see my 2009 stock sr5! With that being said what would you ask for Christmas! Lights, communication, ram mount? Not sure where to begin I would like to be ready for camping and adventure.

    Thank you. Matt

Do you want to camp or adventure alone or with your wife/family?

@monsterkx2fiddy. I would love to get more set up for camping. I do have a tent and little Colman stove, but would def like to start to get some new proper gear.

@49erfan. Would like a suspension upgrade, but after being on this site for sometime and following a couple people my head is spinning! Would also to pay truck off first or come close to. If I did do suspension I was thinking 5100 with new control arms? Any thoughts? Off-roading ability to date equals 0 , but would like to exsperance it.

I wouldn't bother with control arms with that amount of lift. 3"+ for control arms.

I'd go for some camping stuff if you and your family do like camping. Just my opinion. Always good memories to be had while camping. And don't forget your gun. Never know who or what my show up.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Some of the most useful things I've done to my truck aren't actually the obvious suspension and tires and racks and tents.

I'd say hands down the most useful thing I've put in my truck is wired up some USB ports that are always hot, and made the cig lighter always hot.

Great ones that you don't need until you need are LED lights for the bed and hood. Bright & easy.

    LED bulbs for interior lights.

    A good flashlight for whatever.

If you don't have any camping gear, a good lantern, stove, and sleeping bags.
