I found a couple of deals on Craigslist for some Bilsteins with just a couple thousand miles on them from 3rd gen owners that upgraded their suspension.

Would these fit onto my '98 Prerunner Xtracab 2WD? I also like them since they already come with the coilover installed and I won't have to mess with them.

Say they did fit, would this be a good idea, or should I get new ones? A set of four with the coilovers installed run me around 600 online. I don't want to mess with a spring compressor.

    I have two choices:

    A set off a 2015 Tundra: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/5862274146.html
    (Bilstein 48530-0C041, 48510-0C041)

    A set off a 2013 Tacoma: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/for/5865750248.html
    (Can't tell the part number)

They're not going to work, even if they fit the valving would be wrong.

The second link is for a Tundra BTW
