Are there any racks out there that offer less lock 2 lock turn ratios?
Just curious as my search has only brought up OEM replacement types..

    Thanks!

I too have been tossing this idea about for a while but I haven't really found anything.
The 2012 specs list the following but I don't know if the two are compatible and it's allot of trouble for almost no change.

    Turns (lock to lock)
    3.43 turns (4x2)
3.64 turns (PreRunner, and all 4x4)

    Edit: Durrp...
What about a 4 Runner or FJ Cruiser Steering Rack. They are 2.7 turns lock to lock! I mean this would probably through stability control for quite a loop but...

Edit: Other new cars have quick rack kits that don't effect this though? I wonder how the steering angle sensor is fooled into thinking everything is okay? Perhaps for this reason a gearbox lower in the column would ultimately be the best solution, even though I'm not too fond of it because it's liable to have a lot more play, especially after time.
