Been having issues with my trd off road to where it's in and out of dealer.Well got to drive a 2016 Tacoma sport for 2 days and man what a difference in the way it drives.Shifted smoothly and no rough ride on pavement like I've been getting with my truck. Also having issue with rear diff noise in mine and didn't hear it in the sport, when service manager swears they all have it. What's the big difference between both models besides the beefed up suspension and tires in the off road model.

That's one thing I wish I got was the manual. I got the sport because I'd probably never go off-road enough to need the crawl control but I regret not getting the manual.

Not thinking of trading it in yet but soo many issues in only 8 weeks of ownership.Actually Toyota corporate is gonna help me get out of it because of all the issues but I just started the paperwork so we'll see what that entails.Truthfully if I do get totally out I wouldn't get a Tacoma again I'm gonna wait the few years till all the bugs are worked out .I'm probably gonna go back to a Tundra or possibly a 4Runner but I'm not sure yet.

Just don't know why same truck drove much better than mine. That also was a beat on courtesy truck with 8,000 hard ass miles on it you can tell as soon as you opened up the door and looked at the bed. Some people just don't care what they do to something that's not theirs.

    Pretty much stock...
Aside from the things already mentioned (different suspension tuning, crawl control, mts, etc) here is another difference:

TRD Sport has Hill Start Assist, sunglasses holder, and a non-functional hood scoop
    TRD Off-Road doesn't.

To me a non-functional hood scoop is like a chick that colors her hair....if she looks great, who cares if it's real or not???

Fake boobs look good too...Ask me if I care if they are non-functional......

    Nothing wrong with fake boobs.
I went from no scoop (TRD OR 2016) to fake scoop (2017 Pro). My 2013 Mazdaspeed3 and 2016 WRX has functional scoops

I agree with your colored hair and boobs comment

HOWEVER, your fake boobs fake scoop analogy I disagree with. The correct analogy is, a woman who stuffs her bra. She looks like D cup on a date. Take her home, you find out its all stuffed, and is a real A cup. Promises but can't deliver. That is what my PRO fake scoop is. All hat, no cattle.
