Got a lot of stuff lol
This is a very loose tutorial its mainly to show how I did it and to show that it is possible to swap without removing anything beside the belt and the pulley itself. Now I am a 5 lug but the engine is the same. I'm just lower to the ground which doesn't help me lol

    Determine its the seal
I had an oil leak it was very slow and wouldn't show up when I was idling. After wiping off some areas and driving I determined it came from the front crank shaft seal. (You can see the stream surrounded by arrows in the picture)

This is laying down under the engine looking up

Note: I'm not going into the specific socket sizes you should have a basic socket if you own a truck and that should cover all the sizes.

    Parts
    1x
Front Crankshaft seal (From dealer no more than like $15)

    Tools
Socket set (To remove bolts and stuff)
Breaker bar or long ratchet (To break pulley bolt)

Some specific Tools with links Specifically for this job
Pvc pipe coupler the same diameter as the seal (To install the seal)

Bolt type puller (Ended up not using) $14.99 Seal Puller with 2 tips (used to remove seal) $7.99 2pc 16'' Screwdriver (used to remove pulley) $8.99 3 oz RTV selaer $3.99 I ended up not using the bolt type puller because I used the long flat head but for $15 Id rather have it by me in case the flat head idea didn't work.

Here's a video that helped me a lot...Its kinda quarky but very helpful

And heres a TW Thread about the belt

Find a shady spot and layout your tools

    Remove your skid plate

Remove the belt...there is a helpful bolt thing on the tensioner that a socket connects too where you then rotate it to the right which loosens the belt. (I put 2 red squares around my socket which is connect to the bolt thing)
    20160409_103642.jpg

Loosen the bolt (Sorry no pics)
Now craw under your truck and place a socket on the crankshaft pulley bolt and wedge the socket wrench against a part of the truck body then bump the starter loosening the bolt.

Remove the Pulley (Again Sorry no pics)
I used a large flat head and wiggled it off

    Remove the seal
Use a seal puller working around the seal until it pops off
    20160409_113447.jpg

Reinstall the seal...Coat the outside only of the seal with the rtv. Since there is little room I used the bolt in method where you use a piece of pvc pipe the same size as the seal and with a washer slowly bolt and check the seal. (There is plenty of media online showing how to do this.)
    20160409_120635.jpg

    Finish up (No pics)
Pretty easy just put the pulley on and rotate it until it slides in more. Then slap the bolt in and put the belt back together. (Smooth goes with Smooth and Ribbed goes with Ribbed)

    Good Job!
My 2011 Tacoma has a oil leak looked like yours. The truck has almost 210K km on it. My belt was worn out on the inside and one small piece was broken off the belt. I think it might get into the seal and damaged it. After I took the old belt out, I found the alternator pulley wasn't fell right , maybe there is problem with the bearing. and It might be the reason why my serpentine belt broken on the side. So I changed the Alternator. I am planning to change the crank shift seal as well.
BTW, the belt I brought from dealer cost me about CAD86 after tax. So I don't buy alternator from them (CAD850 before tax), I brought a rebuilt one for CAD190.
I would like to know have you fixed your problem after you changing the seal?

Thx 5 Lug, I did mine with the pvc pipe converter to push the seal in, but I didn't use RTV. The big nut for crank shift pulley supposed to be torqued to 185 ft.pound, but I can't do it without anything hold it. How did you tight the nut ?

Front main seal is a fairly simple job. Just labor intensive. Nice work on the write up OP.

Tight the big nut for crank shift pulley is the hardest part of this job. it supposed to be torqued to 185 ft.pound. I have to use a 4x2 to hold it. I don't think I tight it to 185 f.p. because of the home made 4x2 is not that strong, but I do think it is better than "slap the bolt in" which 5 lug fury did.\

This is the home made tool I used to tight the big bolt. I don't know how 5 lug " slap the bolt in" . I think it is hard to toque it to 185 f.p without a right tool.
