I'm new to tacomas. I've always wanted one and the day has come!
I currently have a jeep tj that just got totaled so I've been into the off-roading scene but the problem with jeeps is they are impractical and not very reliable. So I searched for a first gen and found one I like so I thought I would join the forum and learn a few things! image.jpg image.jpg

While that's kind of a whacky looking lift, I'd like to see a close up of the wheels if you don't mind.

    Welcome!

Well I haven't picked it up yet but when I was looking at it the springs are old man emu front and rear and the shocks are bilstiens. I'm unsure if they are stock as it is trd. As for the wheeled they are 15" steelies with some wierd chrome lips. I'm not a fan of them really but that's not the end of the world! I'll post many pics when I pick it up and the close up of the wheels will be included!

Welcome to the site. Sorry about the Jeep. I had a 97 myself prior to the Tacoma. Kept thinking how can I get better storage in my Jeep. Than I thought jeez just get a truck.

Exactly! Plus be realized I enjoy moderate wheeling/camping vs crawling and mudding which is the jeeps specialties
