My taco didn't come w/ fogs so I bought them pre lamin-xed & they lasted last year's winter w/ 3ft of snow( playtime included) still holding into this year so far. 1.5yrs so far that is.

 

Spark plug change
New rotors and pads
Painted calipers...

Removed my Supertop and put the tonneau cover back on for winter.

Quick detailed a weeks worth of dirt/dust off of it.

And lastly, attempted to switch my front and rear blinkers to LEDs. 3157 LED bulbs at each corner and 8 pin LED flasher relay.

Kept popping the flasher fuse as soon as you attempt to use the blinkers for some reason.

OEM flasher relay and 2 rear LED bulbs w/ halogen fronts, they all work, but hyper blink (which I expected). I got sick of fucking with it so I stopped. I need to spend some more time after work tomorrow on it.

I wonder if the fact the fronts arent 4157s is causing the issue? Or the relay is bad?

EDIT - APPARENTLY THE FRONTS ARE CK SOCKETS, THE BULBS I HAVE ARE NOT. Makes sense why they keep shorting.

 

New set of front brake pads, man do I love the smell of properly bedded pads.........

New headlight bulbs and wiper blades
New Deatschwerks 255 Fuel pump to feed the thirsty S/C
Reinstalled aFe intake (post smog test) (had to drill out the isolation mount but got a new one via warranty from aFe to replace it)

{Friday} Drained and filled rear diff, front diff, transfer case, engine oil change

Ran out of daylight for the spark plugs, rad mounts, and transmission drain/fill but maybe this coming weekend

Sorry for the off topic, but figured I'd ask on here since this thread gets a ton of views, which I'm hoping some are from the area...

Going to be in San Antonio this weekend for a wedding. Flying in Thursday evening. Wedding is Saturday, flying back Sunday morning, but guessing I'll have time to kill Friday if we're not doing "family" stuff since it's my cousin's wedding.

Got two little ones, 2 1/2 and 9 month old. Meeting up with my sis and bro in law who also has two kids, same age.

Any one have any recommendations for kid friendly stuff/things to do Friday possibly?!

 

everyone is cleaning up their taco's in preparation for the winter! digging it!

did a clean up this weekend of the coffee stained center console. removed the dog hair from all seats, and properly sealed the roof rails on my ARE Topper.

almost ready for the cold and long road trip through the midwest this winter! VT to South Dakota!

 

what paint did you use on the calipers? did you just cover the surrounding brake parts with newspaper, or did you hang the calipers in the wheel well and paint?

 

Sea World has a park in San Antonio. The zoo is pretty cool as well.
