Cabin Heater Install

    I installed this heater in about an hour


    Install notes:

    Firewall entry was through one of the nipples. I cut it open and pushed a coat hanger through. You need to be patient and just keep wiggling it. Eventually it will come out just above the carpet on the pax side.

    I attached the power cord to the coat hanger with electrical tape and then covered it with a thin layer of petroleum jelly to help get it through the firewall.

    Mounting it on the side was the best option as I wanted to be able to remove it during summer months.

    I'm going to attach a smart plug (WeMo) and have it turn on a couple hours before I head to work in the winter.
