I don't have experience with those particular ones. But with Air Bags the concern is that when you flex the suspension, especially after installing longer rear shocks, you run the risk of over extending the bag and tearing it. Depending on your driving, that may never be an issue.

I will have Daystar cradles so the bags will only be mounted on one side, free floating on the other. I am all street driven except for camping roads which are usually not at all what I would call "off-road" as they tend to be minivan friendly.

Haha! Well you should be good to go then. The Cradles are a pretty sweet setup.

I'm hoping they pair nicely with the 884X coils up front.

The 5160s are just a hair over 1/4" longer than the 5100s, so there's not a whole lot more extended travel there. Sure you can run them with say a 2" lift (depending on lift application) however they will see more top out (full extension) the higher you go.

What would you recommend then for the rear Tacoma with leaf pack?

Mine are on four with like 2.25-2.5 inches lift. Maybe settled a little in like the 2 months I had em. I would do 4 if you already have control arms I am gonna need them to run 285s for sure with good alignment.

Working fine now but rear is sagging. Probably gonna get allpro springs expect to be slightly rear high which I like the look and handling of.

I know this thread is kinda old but does anyone have more insight to this question? I keep hearing that i should go with the big name guys (Fox, Icon, King) but is the Fox 2.0 nonadjustable going to be as good as the 6112s? The rear set up ill be running is the Dakar leafs in the back with the 3rd leaf removed and probably icon/fox 2.0 extended travel so i think it should be 2.5 lift in the rear. I would need to put spacers on the Fox set up in the front to achieve 2.5. Would the FOX 2.0 with spacers be a better buy than the 6112's set at 2.5?

I ended up going with fox 2.5, and love it! Honestly starting comparing the price and it wasn't much more to go ahead and get the Fox 2.5

I haven't been on in awhile, I just got out of the Army and moved back home to Michigan. An update to this is you are definitely going to need upper control arms. I would highly suggest it.

Anyone install these on a 4cyl access cab yet. Curious to see what the top setting nets lift wise on on a lighter truck. Currently have 3" spacers and would like to get down to the 2.5" range.

Did you replace the UCAs? If not, were they able to get it aligned?

Any setup over about 2.25" is going to start to be hard to get back into spec. The Caster will end up a little on the low side.
