Let me start off with apologizing if there is a similar thread. I've done a lot of searching and piecing together and still have not really found answers.

I have a 2014 TSS SR5 DC 4.0 V6 Tacoma 2WD that I bought over 2 years ago, which is my first Tacoma purchase and my first vehicle I installed a lift on.

Shortly after buying it I had bought a rough country 3/2 inch leveling kit. I installed the lift. Later on I removed the rear blocks and put a 1.5 revtek add a leaf.

This past Friday I removed the revtek add a leaf and installed the Toytec Deaver 3 leaf progressive mini pack and I also removed the Rough Country spacers and OEM struts and installed the Toytec Ultimate Coilovers.

I did not take center hub measurements because I did not know to until during and after the install when I was researching. I did however take a measurement from top of the tire to fenderwell beforehand which was 8.5 inches.

They say they came preloaded at 2.5 inches so I notched them up an additional .25 inches which should have given me an actual .5 inches extra on top of the 2.5 resulting in 3 inches total.

When I did that I had around a 24.5-25 inch center hub to fender and 10 inch wheel to fender measurement. While driving to go get an alignment It was really stiff and I had a couple clunks so I went home and took them down to a 23.5 inch center hub measurement which resulted in a 7 7/8 inch tire to fender measurement.

And they were able to get my alignment to 0 camber, 0 toe, and 2.8 caster DF and 3.2 PF. Without touching the UCas tonight.

So it's sitting about an inch lower than it did with the Rough Country 3 inch spacer lift.

Could that clunking sound I had he from the shocks topping out?

Could the 1.5 inch (actual measurement) spacer on oem struts have given me me more than 3 inches of lift?

Would it hurt to crank the Coilovers up to 24 center hub to fender or will they top out easy? They are set at DF 1 5/16 thread showing and PF 7/8 PF thread showing.

What are the stock centerhub to fender measurements? I've seen 20, 20.5, 21, and 21.75.
