My Castor is 3.7- to push my front wheels forward. no rubbing.
Some say the truck will steer "longer"- i have not felt a difference.
Note this is for a lift only. 265/75 tires, oem wheels and 1.5" spidertrax spacer.

Hey all of the NC residents on here I have a question for you! My wife and I are heading to a cabin in Bryson city in western NC Thursday. I know that there is a burn ban for open burning but what about indoor fireplaces? @JimboAnz @Sandman614

I don't know how fireplaces work. I've never had one. I just know burning fines are $200+.

I have 2.25" in the front from 884s and 5100s. I can tell the difference in the steering from before the lift.
Caster is supposed to be around 2.5 correct?

Yeah I've been reading but it only talks about open burning greater than 100ft from a occupied residence. If I can't have a fire it's no big deal but it would be nice.

Best bet is to call your cabin rental company

Building, maintaining, attending or using a fire or campfire (including charcoal based fire whether in a grill or not) is NOT ALLOWED anywhere on the National Forest.

Another concern is that with the cooling weather many people will be heating their homes with wood-burning stoves and fireplaces. Often, users will dispose of ashes in a wooded area. If these ashes aren’t completely extinguished, they could cause a wildfire. Always be sure ashes are dead out, and dispose of them in a metal container with a cover.

I would figure don't ask don't Tell.. no one really would know you had a fire in the fireplace esp if there is smoke outside

Typically burn bans are for outdoor fires if I recall correctly

Trust me I have been reading for hours trying to find an answer. For how much $$ I'm paying for the cabin I would like to at least have a fire inside. But I've also talked to people at work that have family up in NC that said they can have outdoor fire pits if there are people there at all times and keep the flame low. I'll just call tomorrow and find out. Not sure if the cabin is actually in the national forest...
