Hi everyone.....Tell me how to know what wheels and tires I need. I have a 2013 Tacoma 4x4 off road stock truck BUT the goal is to put a 3" suspension lift on with bigger tires and different wheels. I can't afford do do everything at once, and am thinking I will purchase the new wheels and tires first, then lift the truck. I THINK I wanna stick with 16" wheels but put a bigger tire on. My off roading consists of jeep trails that the stock truck CAN do but I want the suspension lift, and bigger wheels/tires for MAINLY looks. I do carry two dirt bikes in the bed of my truck, and I do beat the truck up a bit when on dirt so I'm not necessarily looking for the "cheapest" way.
Can I put the bigger tires on without the lift to start?
I don't understand sizing of wheels other than 16" or 17" wheels.....are there different widths that I need to consider?
I don't want to lift first cause I think the stock wheels and tires will look funny.....thoughts?
Any and all help is appreciated. I tend to buy things without doing m homework and then regret it.....I don't wanna mess this up.

    Welcome!!!!

Most lift manufacturers recommend 285/75r16 - if you want to stick with 16's that is.
Whether you lift first or last is personal preference. Good luck.

Thank you! And when picking wheel width? Or off set?
