if people would just wait til spring when the nexus one is released for verizon and vodafone, it will be subsidized and there wont be a need to buy it unlocked. it will prolly be around the same price as the tmobile with contract price. it has better camera, features and style in my opinion than the droid does. only thing is i think the trackball isnt gonna get much use at all. i dont even know why its there

some "issues" with the nexus one:

    * poor speakerphone quality and here. the droid has a better speaker than the n1, based on what i'm reading

    * doesn't support voice dialing through bluetooth (will be fixed with a planned software update)

I think I am leaning towards the droid.....I'm sick of my current phone and don't want to wait for the N1 or iphone to be available for verizon

I currently have the Droid, but whenever the Nexus One is available through Verizon I will be jumping ship to Google.

This review makes me more biased towards the Droid. The lack of a physical keyboard is the deal breaker for me......I have had a few touchscreen phones and at one point or another the touch interface freaks out and makes the phone useless without physical buttons.

I just sold my HTC Touch Pro 2 and got a Motorola Droid, and so far loving it. Its quick, takes good pictures and phone sound quality is great. The keyboard is not as great as the TP2, but better than a virtual keyboard for sure. The apps are great especially compared to the TP2 Windows Mobile. So far the Droid is the best phone I've owned.
