I've learned that double clutching really helps if you're looking to push the revs more with the supercharger, easier on the syncros at least.

What the best way to torque the crankshaft pulley? Obviously the torque wrench but what do hold to keep it from moving?

Some kind of clamp like a c-clamp maybe?

    ...too much shit to list.
The two holes in the pulley are meant for a tool to insert and hold the pulley so it doesn't spin. I made one out of scrap metal and grade 8 bolts.

Maybe check the condition of your Battery again. If its going bad it will throw codes.

If your talking about when putting the new one on, I didn't need anything. I used a wrench on each part of the installer tool.

Just changed a couple months ago so I don't think that will be the issue. So far no more codes, but I'll keep an eye on it. Hopefully it was just the dirty MAF and a weird coincidence.

In my experience, disconnecting the battery to clear a code will usually clear it for a 100-200 miles before the code comes back (assuming it wasn't resolved)

Was able to torque it down. Didn't drain the engine block of the coolant. What a mess. Getting close to getting the supercharger mounted.

I'm considering going with the same intake.

Mine has been setting a pending P0101 about every other time I drive the truck.

I took out the MAF this afternoon and it was definitely a bit darker on one side. I thoroughly cleaned it and have been driving it around a bit this evening and it hasn't set any pending codes yet.

I don't know if disconnecting the battery will clear the code for you or not. Easy enough to try it though. I have my UltraGauge installed so I use it to read and clear the codes so I don't have to lug around my Autel.

Disconnecting the battery may clear the code for what seems like a longer period of time vs using a scan gauge or handheld. This is due to the obd diagsnostics which takes 100 to 200 miles to fully initialize after a battery disconnect. FYI

Either way if you are getting the code, something set the code.

Well I tried doing the pulley swap and I need a better puller. Tried the gear wrench 2 ton and that was a disaster. Got the super charger on and the belt for now. Will try what @loginfailed recommended this weekend.

Some info if anyone is having a problem with the upgraded TRD oil cap interfering with the S/C you can swap it out with a smaller 5.7 Tundra fill neck. Saved these pictures but forget who the member was that originally posted. I thought it was a good idea and want to pass it on.

I would love to do the S/C upgrade someday now that they are available. Thanks.

Does anyone know if the URD true cold air intake will fit with supercharger intercooler? Any experience? Id like to get a different intake to clean up the engine bay. Emailed gadget and he's not sure.

ive asked another person who has one on here who got a SC to clarify. waiting for their reply...

I called gadget about 2 weeks ago and he said he thought it would fit but youd have to modify the rear of the grill and possibly change slight angles in the TCAI. I personally dont think it will be TOO hard to figure out, if you are capable of installing the SC anyway

After cleaning the MAF it has not come back on, yet. It came on Monday afternoon and I cleared it with my ultragauge. I figured disconnecting the battery would allow the computer to learn the new airflow a little better. When I cleaned the MAF, I also pulled out the plug in the bottom of the AFE filter box. It allows some air to be drawn in from the engine bay behind the windshield reservoir. Not sure if that helped as well, but I figured slightly warmer air intake is better than not enough air intake (if that was the case)
I just wish my gauges would get here so I could see what my afr is. I am going with rich, since my mpgs are in the crapper right now.

I'm looking at AFR from my dual LC-2s through the log works app. I think my AFRs are too lean so I've been staying out of the throttle. Once my AFR gauges get here I'll have a better idea. Im looking forward to finding another way to tune the truck instead of the Bully Dog.
