    Hey everyone,

Wanted to post a positive review on some LED's i just picked up for my Tacoma. I'd had 4 Hella 700's and had 100w bulbs in each. I was finding that the two i had pointed down the sight lines directly in front of the truck didn't light the way i'd wanted. So...i figured it was time to upgrade...but had some concerns about increasing to a 130w bulb in the Hellas. So I began looking at LED's.

I found these: Turbo SII CREE Pair 9 Inch Round 160W LED lights (on Amazon) and so far, they're great. Holy crap are those LED's bright!

I kept two of the Hellas an have them pointed to the ditches (so those critters are visible and i don't schmuck a Whitetail).

The add shows to figures 8000lm and 14400lm either way that is bright. I wish the led lights (all mfg) would come with covers to protect against uv and road debris. Thanks posting.

yeah, there's a lot more there than i thought there'd be. Cannot wait to get them out into the forrest this weekend (deer hunting starts this weekend back at home).

These do come with a protective piece...both a clear one and something that must be a diffuser. The best i can imagine is that it's meant to turn the lights from a spot to a flood. either way, there is something to protect the glass on the lights.
