On shuttles I've carried 7 boats and 7 people before, I can fit 5 boats on their sides across the racks on the cap, and can fit an additional 2 boats on the factory racks on the cab. I might be able to fit 3 on the cab if i really wanted to. Need space in the back for wet gear/additional people as required. Also we have 4 ~75 dogs that ride in the cap when they come with us, wouldn't be comfortable with them riding in the trailer.

these look super neat, never heard of them before. would give up on some other comforts but would definitely make hauling a bike easy

extending the tongue would be a good option however likely very expensive and laborious. definitely not something i would likely tackle myself and would want a professional to do it.

At the end of the day it would be unlikely I would have a need for both the bike and the trailer for most trips, one or the other would fit most needs. More just brainstorming ideas to see if there's something relatively cheap & easy.

I just realized that they are made right here where I live. I'm going to check them out for myself.

I don't think you aren't going to carry a full sized bike on the front, boats on the truck and a trailer in the back without quickly hitting your load limits. An ARB and a winch with steel line adds about 200#s to the front and you need to upgrade the suspension to safely carry it. A bike on the front is going to stick out on either side and obscure your lights so depending on what state you are in that will likely cause issues as well. If I were going to carry a lifeboat I'd consider something like a scooter or one of the Honda 70s or their clones.

There's a DRZ400s on the back of my Tacoma- you can see the front wheel sticking out and the rear sticks out about the same on the other side. The carrier is also a steel one, not aluminum but I have OME Dakars on the rear so no problem with the weight.
