    Took my truck back to OEM Audio last week for final tuning and so they could test the magnets they designed to hold the seat belt buckles to the sub box. System still sounds awesome, and even better after they tweaked the tuning to where they finally wanted it. The bass is even deeper and the highs/mids sound even more crisp. This system really does hit it out of the park, and is perfect for Access Cab owners that don't want some giant carpet box taking up all the back cab space. Everyone I meet who hears it is blown away by how loud, clean, and deep bass the system has. Very happy and highly recommend.

    I finally installed the O+ Reference 450Q AC into my truck. I don't know what I think about the sub. On some songs it's awesome, and you can really feel it through the truck but for the most part, its very quiet. I wish i had the ability to turn it up some, i'm constantly screwing with the stock EQ to get it to sound right depending on the type of music. Overall, the O+ front speakers and tweeters really make the difference. The rear speakers I cant hear much and the sub is not that rumbly. The volume difference is incredibly noticeable. I can listen to music at 5 and it sounds nice and clear and at 20 music is loud and clear, 35 seems to be the sweet spot. My girlfriend and I are able to have conversations without feeling like we have to raise our voices and the bass is punchy.

    The magnets on the back of the sub need to be stronger neodymium, they only hold the seat buckles a little. One buckle seems to just keep falling off. Oh well. I dont get a lot of back seat passengers anyways and it looks so damn good that it's not a big deal. The sub looks very clean, like it should have been included in the truck in the first place. Overall I give it a B+. The bass is lacking and I think it needs some tuning. The price is high but it looks clean and sounds good. I have zero regrets about buying this upgrade, it wasn't too difficult to install on my own and it sounds great.

    My only regrets were not taking some damn pictures during the installation. What was I thinking?!

    I agree with most all you wrote. I wish I could make more adjustment on the sub. On some songs it hits hard, on others not so much. The magnets are not perfect, but the box looks great and fits the truck layout perfect. I had them tune my sub at their shop and noticed a good difference, not perfect but better then when it was first installed. Don't know if and how they may be able to adjust yours? The mids and tweets up front make the system sound great and are worth it. Glad you got one too and have zero regrets.

    So I just finished the OEM Audio+ 450Q installation in my 2016 access cab and I am definitely happy. The sound is much much better, and whereas I would sometimes max my stereo, around 35-40 is now loud enough to my liking, and it sounds soooo much better. The bass won't blow out your windows, or make your muffler fall off (I know someone whose stereo did that) but it is much improved. This was exactly what I was looking for when I wanted to really crank my radio and get great sound quality as well and get some deeper bass.

    Observations;
    I did my install over a few days. When I found out my package shipped I took apart the whole back area and the day my package arrived I had enough time to just install the rear speakers and replace my door panels. I ran the cable to the subwoofer area and put the rest of the rear back together leaving the remaining cable on the floor behind the drivers seat.

    The next day I installed the subwoofer, the magnets really don't work that well at all to hold the buckles up. So they just flop down, but I'm not really concerned with that. Also the installation video references velcro to go under the subwoofer, to which I could find no velcro anywhere. We'll see how that works out. I installed the dash tweeters and attempted to wire the amp. For whatever reason the receptacles point towards the transmission not the outside of the truck as suggested in the video. But my problem was the grounding cable was at least a foot too short. Would never reach the grounding point with the seat all the way back, or probably half way back for that matter. I called OEM Audio + to discuss this and ask some other questions. While many rave about the quick response time, a second phone call and just over 24 hours later nobody has called me back. I had to stop my install due to rain.

    Driving the truck I already noticed how much better the dash tweeters sounded in the original system. Today, I spliced a foot of wire onto the grounding cable, luckily I had a soldering iron to do so. Wired up to to the stereo. I ran my power wire through the drivers side. I used a pick tool to puncture the rubber gasket and used a coat hanger to pull the wire through. I definitely noticed the cable shield supplied wouldn't have been long enough had I gone through the passengers side as the video says to do. Installed the front speakers and I was done.

    I've done an install for a friend with one 12" woofer, and sure it will rattle the car. If that's what you are looking for, that's not what you are going to get. But if you want an increase in bass, wish your stereo would go louder some times, and want overall better sound, then if you can afford it, I say do it.

    I have no regrets and am very happy, other than the customer service I received, well didn't receive.

    Will OEM sell the empty enclosure? I have a 2017 access cab without the rear seats, I was going to have a local shop make a custom center console /sub box. I have all my own equipment so no need for theirs but I like the stock look of the OEM enclosure.

    I have been looking at getting a sub for my Tacoma but I can't bring myself to spend $1500 for a full system. I went to my local stereo shop today and they had a Rockford Fosgate sub and amp that they sell. It is all one unit and it's an 8" sub. It will slide right up under the driver or passenger seat. The unit is about $300 before install. This might be an option for some others that want a little more bass with out having to spend alot

    I have installed a 4ch 600w amp and a 12" bandpass box all using Aux on stock stereo and my phone. So all stock speaker's work with my system and sounds amazing. Pics and example upon request. 2018 access cab.
