Looks really good. I just ordered 17in ray 10s and was wanting to run 275/70 with only a 2in lift. I'm really hoping it works out. Your tires are almost an inch taller than the St maxx's I'm looking at.

I was thinking the same thing. I want to do the 17" on my DCLB but am going to do a 2"/1" lift level and run 275/70-17. Any thoughts on if this would work (scs guys help us)

A 2" lift should be able to work with 275s. Removal of the front mud flaps and some trimming will be needed. A CMC will depend on the tire selection.

Flattening down the pinch welds is the main concern on a 1st gen.

Is that all? I won't need any spacers?

    Completely stock
Unless you are using spindles to lift your truck and you need to even out the rears, there's no need for spacers. The wheels built with enough offset you wont need to worry about spacers. Now if you were going to use your stock rim, there isnt enough backspacing your suspension, therefore you will need spacers to push the rim out and clear the tires

In your case, remove mud flaps, bend over the pinch weld, and you may have to cut a bit of the wheel liner with a razer (depends on the lift)....all should take 15 minutes

What size lift are you running?

I had a 1st gen and pretty knowledgeable when it comes to lifting/tires and fitment

You won't need spacers unless you plan to run 315s up front then the tire can get pretty close to the UCA.

What size spacers do you recommend to run for 315s or say true 35s with the 17" wheel, 3" lift?
