I was talking to someone, I think they were on here.

They sold a vehicle (I think it was at the end of a lease which would make sense); but they never had the vehicle in their name. They leased it, sold it to a third party, but the third party contacted the bank directly and paid them, nothing ever went to the original person. But... the state was coming after them for the taxes even though the vehicle was never in their name.

Was that someone here... was wondering how that worked out in the end.

Haha nothing...yet. Just randomly thought about it and wondered how that went down.

But I've been through 16ish vehicles...not much going for the Tacoma for it to stick around for too long. And not much chance that Toyota will be making anything worthwhile anytime soon to make me choose them again. :drunk:

Right now I'd get a GM for work and gx for the trails. We'll see if that changes as the time nears.

Had a gsxr for that. Sold it. There's almost no point to ride with the constant traffic and massive increase of idiots in this state.

Back on 2009 I had an 03 CBR 600RR that I stopped riding because of too many close calls of people not paying attention. I was just about to put it up for sale when someone stole it. Though I had fill coverage I would still of rather had someone who I knew was going the take care of it buy it vs a shit ass thief who prob chopped it and turned it into a stunt bike

A small handful of select mods.
Whatever name it was reigistered under for the state would be the person that the taxes claim would go against I would think. How do you drive a vehicle it's entire lease timeframe without registering it though? Seems like they were being fraudulent to begin with.

Anyone ever have dreams about bad stuff happening to their Tacoma? I had a dream last night that someone stole my rear fenders and axle. Funny that even in my dream i was really pissed and out for blood but at the same time i was thinking about what aftermarket parts i was going to replace the stolen parts with. :pccoffee: Morning! heh.
