Not a fan. That stuff gets pretty funky around the edges over time. Fingernail scratches polish out pretty easily by hand in that area.

    Good concept though.

    XPEL
yes I used the Meguires scratch X 2.0 and it does temperarily get rid of the scratches but they will come back I got a Taco and a Honda accord with semi serious scratches that I don't want expanding worse for $10 a 4 pack XPELs I think that's a righteous deal

    They accepted 8$ as well.

I suppose for the price of a fast food lunch, I'll give it a shot.

I will try to get them on but the weather is not agreeing, its windy and cold as shit not ideal for precise application.

PPF Installed,i tried using every method to install the pieces and none worked for me, I cleaned the area first, had soapy water mix hosed the area and the stickum part of film and it would not stick at all when I tried to tack it down in place :notsure:all I got was a slippery film that wouldn't tack down so one film bites the dust seems like the soapy water eliminated the stickum, cleaned off and then wiped the area with an alcohol wipe works better although most of the techniques in the Vid didn't work for me. Firstly the film is a universal fit not a Tacoma specific cut as far as I can see. So you need to overlay an 1/8" above the cups crease in order for a full uniform look. I tacked the top where I wanted then lightly tacked the bottom, then pushed out the center. When doing this you get air bubbles and small creases so you have to lift up the edges and STRETCH/Pull them out and the film into place, then mash and use your fingers to press them out. You can completely remove the film if you want to start over.
    Dos:
do the application in direct sunlight, you can see better and the warmth makes the film better to stretch into place
make sure your fingers are clean because the stickum will pickup all residues and you will see the film get dirty looking

it worked. the video makes it look easy, its a little more harder if you never did any PPF work before ,but now I know what to expect if I decide to do more applications on my truck, got to have a little patience and remember you can pull it and try again, I removed the film 3 times before I got it to where I liked it and had a tiny bubble I couldn't get out, I would like to try the headlights or bumper piece next
