Has anyone done everything (bumpers, tires, racks, etc...), except for a lift? If so how did it come out?

you need to upgrade your suspension for all that equipment. That is alot of weight and would probably not do so well with a full load driving offroad. Also a lift would be one of the cheapest things you just mentioned in that list.

thanks man. I knew i would have to upgrade the suspension. I should have phrased things as stock ride height. That's my bad for not thinking that threw all the way.

The problem with stock ride height is that these trucks don't look very good at that height. The original Hi Luxes were cool and high. Especially the 4 doors are long and low and need at least 2" lift to regain their proportion as well as their heritage. IMHO, as someone who has driven Toyota trucks starting in1980.

i appreciate the honesty, and looking out at the truck i could see 2" maybe 3" being nice. i was just thinking outside the box on this and thought i would see what was out there.

Yeah, Tacoma's have pretty anemic stock suspension. Once they're upgraded they're different trucks. More solid, firmer and predictable.

Works fine for me i mean I am upgrading my suspension now because of the weight but it isn't necessary
you can do it I did bumpers (heavy ones) and a bunch of other things as well before I did anything to the suspension or lift
this is from when it was stock except for the bumperIMG_2279.jpg
