I have been working there since July doing the Theater renovation at the Butte HS. Not far from Glacier National Park, Yellowstone. Lots of trails to explore and what not. Its not the greatest town but not the worst either. Super cold. Hope you're not afraid of grizzly's and like to hunt haha.

I know nothing of that place. :p

What kind of job is she applying for? That will dictate a bit of how your experience goes.

Butte is a love it or hate it place, never known any one to be on the fence.
lots of access for hunting, fishing, camping, offroading in every direction which is awesome. the economy is meh. housing prices are decent but wages are meh. for hte most part its always struck me as being not what you know but who you know to get anywhere in that town. lots of good folks, still has that everyone knows everyone feel

if you want to be a little out of town look up the roosevelt drive/moose creek area south of town, beef tail and browns gulch west of town and pipestone/whitehall east of town.

oh, and myself, Mac and Colton all grew up there so if you got any other questions we're probably your best source of info.

As a matter of fact I do. I have lots of Fire Service experience. How are the Volunteer depts. on accepting outsiders per say? Will definitely check into those areas. Not worried about the money yet. Wife told them her salary requirements (over 100K) and they still are actively interviewing her. Will know Monday if it going to go any farther.
