Matte black side mirror covers

I received the factory matte black side mirror covers from Camelback Toyota Parts this afternoon, and I just got done installing them. The removal of the white covers and the installation of the black covers went fairly smooth and I broke no tabs on either set of mirrors, even though it sounds like their breaking when your removing and installing them.

I'm am totally stoked how well the matte black cover look compared the white covers, and the color and finish on the matter black covers matches the color and finish on the mirror bases perfectly, and these are just what my Super White needed.

Here are the Toyota part numbers for the matte black mirror covers.

87945-04050 / 87915-04050


Next up black 6 spoke 16" TRD Trail Team rims, and I'm also thinking that some factory black door handles might look pretty good also by breaking up the white on the sides.

 

Looks great and black fenders would be nice too.

Looks cool but I can't figure out what trim level is equipped with black mirror covers.
All the SR's I've seen are color matched.

 

I was just about to give up and either paint the mirror covers black of plasti-dip them, when after doing some more searches of online parts I stumbled across the matte black covers, and when I did I was also wondering what model they came on, because I have never seen a picture of any factory 3rd Gen with black mirror covers.

I've looked at the color matched mirror covers on all of the other available factory colors, and IMHO none of them look good, with the B/W combo on the Super Whites looking the worse. So I'm thankful that I found these as they match the black bases perfectly, and I think if I had bought any of the other colors I would ant the black mirror covers.

 

Is that a part number for the left and right sides? Looking on https://parts.olathetoyota.com the pic shows drivers side for both numbers. Where did you order from? I'm a little confused and don't want to order the wrong parts.

As I stated in my first post I ordered the covers from here. The LS cover is second from the top on page 2, and the right side cover is at the top on page 5.

Perfect. Looks exactly like my base 5 lug fleet truck. I knew that was cooler than all that monochromatic nonsense.

 

dont see any matte black with signal option for a trd

 

Their only for members of the SR / SR5 club but you could still pit them on.

 

I had black mirrors on my '02 SR5 Tacoma. I liked them cuz they were there.
The'16 has white, and if I can have my drothets, I prefer white.
