I love my truck, don't we all?

So anyhow, the JBL system sounds amazing but once I got into my buddy's 2013 a few years back and saw the entune head unit I was pretty jealous. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while. Our new RAV4 has the entune unit in it and I dig it.

    Soo here's my questions/requirements:

    I'd like:

    Bluetooth Audio/Phone/Messaging capabilities
    NAV
    Apps and such

I figure I can do this by getting an Entune Premium HU from a 3rd party and figure out all the connections, etc. I'm a meticulous engineer so that shouldn't be too daunting.

    OR

Buy an aftermarket deck with CarPlay and all the other bells and whistles.

I'm going to keep the amazing JBL speakers obviously, just need a new HU.

What do ya'll think? Entune is pretty cool but some of the decks I'm peeking at are pretty amazing too. Particularly this one:

    Pioneer AVIC-5200NEX

Thoughts? I'm open to any other brands/decks as well. I've always been a Pioneer fan, though.

Can anyone who has done this in any capacity point me in the right direction/thread for installation requirements and any caveats?

    Thanks!

I have the AVIC 5100. It's been great so far. Definitely nice going from a standard deck (I have an '05), to Bluetooth, Nav, and the apps. It has an input for a rear view camera as well, but I haven't utilized that.
