    Are you referring to the ball joint in this picture? What part did you replace?

    sorry I never got back to you, yes, it's an inner tie rod end.

    I just got done replacing the inner tie rod end, and it's still clunking. there is a bit of play in my steering rack, is that normal? and what if i were to tighten the tie rod end? or would that mess up my alignment?
