    Text from dealer yesterday evening. My new Taco just arrived on their lot. Will be picking up tomorrow. Plans: seat covers, Redarc brake controller, & do something with that chrome grill.

    My dealer said usually 8-12 weeks but with the 2017's it has been taking longer...but yeah it is frustrating to get the silent treatment. and I still don't understand if an "order" is actually an "order" and they still have to wait for an allocation that matches. Can someone explain that to me? Just need to have a little patience.

    Actually, I'm about to lose interest. Just wait until '18..Probably should keep my '11 anyway. It is bullet proof. Also has the 5 speed AT which I prefer. I had a '10 tundra with 6 speed and didn't like it. Always looking for gears. I wish Toyota would buy the Porsche TDK AT. My wife's Macan AT is as close to perfect as you can get and it is 7 speed.

    Congrats on the truck!! I just got mine 2 weeks ago.. If your looking to get a new grille for your truck a couple good options are the BAMF raptor style grille and the TRD pro one.. I have the TRD pro grille on my QS tan Tacoma
