Hello all, I am very new to posting or participating in any online sites but not new to off road action. After picking up a 2013 Tacoma, access cab TRD 6 speed manual (bone stock), my 4x4 fun button has been reactivated. I have been looking at upgrades and fun stuff with all detailed info trails leading back to Tacoma World, I figured I'd sign up. Currently Mama has a 13' 4Runner SR5, (that will never see the trail), past 4x4s , 10 full size 1/2 tons, F350 diesel, 86'CJ7. The CJ was the most fun but I have high hopes on having as much or more fun with the Taco. Location: No.Utah. The rambling must stop. Thanks TacOMas'.

Thanks NicNac, new to the forum type conversation,so a little slow, I have been looking into OME lifts, 3" front and 2"ish rear. Looks like a lot of options to dial in the exact set up. Also looking to run 285/70/16 or 17.

I heard that, the interweb is not my strong suit. I'm enjoying the truck already, though I've been warned I am studying up on just how to throw some $ at it. :anonymous:

Thanks for all the welcomes:thumbsup: The wallet is on lock down until much research is done. I will read up on the lift/suspension threads before I ask about opinions on the trade offs on ride quality vs durability, with durability being King in mind. With that said is there a clear cut winner? 3"ish front,2"ish rear. :dancingbacon:

I will say this, the OME (Old Man Emu) seems to have way more traction on this forum then others. That's due to price, ride quality and durability.

Many "hard core" off road people have their own preferences you'll see in your research.
