Thanks, fellas. Yeah, it drives really nice. The passenger side bearing was so pitted and FUBAR that when he took it off it basically exploded.

If someone else had gotten this truck and tried to take it for a trip or something without taking it to be thoroughly looked at... It could have been disastrous.

Pat put most of the parts in at cost and even gave me a few freebees like the brake pads. I can't recommend him enough! If I didn't already know him then chances are I would never had gotten a truck at all. He and some of my other buddies wheel around a lot out here in AZ so now I'm part of the "Convoyota"...

Had to take advantage of this amazingly nice 45 degree morning out in Phoenix to get a couple magic hour shots...

I'm pretty sure everyone's been duped once in their lives. Otherwise not many people (like me after a few of those experiences) would know what to look for. Glad you're stoked on the truck. You'll get more enjoyment out of modding it anyway than if you didn't have to do anything to it lol.

Welcome! I feel your pain on having to put money into a new (used) truck, I bought an '04 in March with only 24k miles on the clock but have had to sink some $$$$ into repairs, some related to aftermarket stuff the PO put on. E-fan went out, supercharger had a vacuum leak, upper and lower ball joints had to get replaced, cruise control, throwout bearing was bad resulting in a new clutch...probably some other stuff I've managed to repress. I still love my tacoma though
