Lift Question

I got a quick newb question -- why do lift kits typically raise the front an inch or so higher than the rear?

I believe the short answer to your question, however, is that our trucks roll off the assembly line with a bit of rake (front lower than the rear). Many owners seek to eliminate that, leveling their trucks, when lifting.
