AVS deflector

    So I received the AVS bug deflector. How the heck does this deflect anything, it looks like it lays flat to me and has no curl to push up air. Any thoughts???

    Thanks for the thread Reklov and info Vbviper. I guess I may have ordered incorrectly as I have the aeroskin. Will see how it looked in the morning laying on the orange red hood.

    I like the look but I found here in the Midwest where the bugs are really bad that it really doesn't do much to deflect bugs. I agree with Vbpiper, it will help with rock chips.

    Did you get the Areoskin ll ? Black matte finish won't show scratches like the original Areoskin. The ll also has the raised edge that looks pretty neat. Probably deflect a bug or 2 the original wouldn't.

    I don't think it's the 2. Not many bugs here in the vegas desert but get up in the mountains of Utah and AZ or even down to LA and your truck is swamped. I'll have to dry fit it on both our '17 Tacomas and see how the look but I think they're going back to Amazon. T.
