First I want to thank everyone who contributes to TW. I learn so much from the information on this site, and appreciate everyone taking the time to explain their setups, issues, and post pictures. It's the least I can do to post information and pictures from my build for others to learn from.

I searched high and low for a good shop in Chicago. It wasn't easy, but I kept reading good things about chitown4x4.com. I lobbed a call into Joe, and from the start he provided tons of good advice from lifts, tire selection, and fielded more questions than he probably should have. Highly recommend calling Joe if you're in and around Chicago. Not many guys that would work until 11pm on your build, send play-by-play via text, and take pics for you.

    Anyway, here's the build info:

    Truck: 2017 TRD Off-Road

    Lift:
    Bilstein 6112 - Front
    Total Chaos UCAs
    Bilstein 5100 - Rear
    Icon AAL - Rear
    1/4" space on driver side
Wheels: KMC 17x9 XD Bully -12 Offset
    Tires: Cooper ST Maxx 285/70R17

Was there rubbing? Yes (this is pretty consistent with everything i read on TW)
Solution: Removed front mud flaps, minor cutting of plastic, and minor cab mount chop (nipped the corner off), they also used a heat gun to flex the plastic wheel well in the front to make a little more room.

Just based on the highway driving this weekend, I probably lost around 1mpg (~15.7mpg).

It's a little stiffer ride than stock, but really good overall. The tires are surprisingly quiet given the treat pattern.

    Here are some pics before/after:

    Beautiful looking

Were you able to drop your stock truck at the shop, and Joe did all lift wheels and tires ?

Aggressive looking truck, but I think you lost more than 1 mpg, I get (and most others as well) 23 mpg highway on a stock truck. ;)

Hmm. I never got close to that when driving on the highway when the truck was stock. The best I could get with stock when heavily drafting (tailgating) trucks, etc. was 21mpg. I did this several times on 4 hour drives to my cabin. And I live in IL where there's very little hills. Ordinary highway trip without trying to draft other vehicles was closer to 18-19mpg. Quite possible it's my style (speed) of driving too :)

Nice truck Chitownyota! And +1 on the gas mileage topic. Driving the best possible way only gives me maybe 21mpg if I am lucky.

Nice build... I was expecting to see you list of mods looking like this:

    Salex organizer
    Front bed rail
Sikky 50 inch curved light bar

How much lift are you running on those shocks
