Hey all just giving you an update.

My frame was undercoated in 2010 & I inspected the frame before I bought it. So nonetheless, it passed inspection. The people at the Toyota dealership were really cool.

I talked to the service manager beforehand and he goes:
"Since yours was undercoated the inspection is free. I do hope there's a hole in it because Toyota pays us a lot of money to do those".

    So I go:
"So if that's the case. You're gonna make sure I get a frame?

    Service manager goes:
    "Yup"

On a side note - anyone have a part # for a frame plug kit for a first gen, or 2000 specifically. I saw a kit listed in the second gen forum at 04002-07104, and tried asking a couple part sites if there is something similar for a first gen with no luck. I think someone had a post about buying some hardware store plugs that could be made to fit, but I can't find that post now.

Im down in Kenosha and getting my frame inspected this week ( which was undercoated by the dealer back in 02 and valid until june of next year ( confirm 15 year warranty). I have not found any serious rust damage, just looking to keep my frame in good shape (damn salt). Ill keep you guys posted on the outcome
