Hey i was wondering if anyone know if you can put the magnaflow turn down exhaust (off road pro series) on a 2002 tacoma? it says it's only for 2005 and up but can you just cut and weld to fit?

At certain rpms the drone is obnoxious but its really throaty and sounds cool if I had more pipe the drone probably wouldnt be as bad but I relocated my rear shocks so I had to dump it at the rear axle or go straight out the side. and I have a 14in model so its a little louder than others, id reccomend an 18in one.

Im thinking it might work as long as i cut befor the O2 sensor. is the performance any different with a turn down rathee than having tubing ?

    ...X2

I had my FM with a turn down right before the axle.
And the drone was annoying at hwy constant speeds.

I cut that thing off and welded on a full length tail pipe promptly.

^ TIG is best if welding exhaust tubing.

I like sound emitted... but that drone can be fatiguing on long hauls.

    plus...
it'll kick up crud and that'll end up encrusted on the axle housing/3rd member.
