Wanted to ask if anyone has seen this before I get into my door. The left rear latch doesn't stay up when the door is opened. Resulting in a majorly annoying slam when I go to close the door. Have to push the latch up with my finger then close it.

I assume there is a spring thats worn out inside in the lock?

Wondering if its repairable or better to source an entire locking mechanism.

Also, long time lurker. First post. Super lame I know. Trying to save time on these little annoying repairs.

Not sure, sounds like a spring broke. Just take the door panel off and look inside with a light. Shouldn't be to difficult to fix or replace.

broke spring if it flops like a noodle...
or possibly gummed up if it's not the spring ?
