Need to tire suggestion

I have a 2014 SR 5 2.7 automatic 4x4. I do 99% of my driving on the road. I need to be able to drive in the snow to get to work here in north west NJ and go hunting and fishing once in a while. I'm looking for 245/75/16 size tires. Thanks

You could buy a set of aggressive mud/snow tires and put them on your current wheels, then watch craigslist for a spoiled brat whois daddy just bought him a new Tacoma and paid for new rims and tires to put on it. Brats usually off the OEM tires and rims for basically beer $$$, lol! $300-$400. Or, ask guys at local 4x4 and custom shops to let you know if they come across a set of pretty new OEM tires/wheels a brat just left after an install. It does happen. Then just swap the sets when you need to Thats what I do. (Note... ive used this strategy on a few trucks, it can take 6 months sometimes watching craigslist to find your brat, lol)

 

I'm running the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. I've had them for years now and they're capable but quiet, although they hum pretty good at highway speed now as they've worn. As said above, you can watch Craigslist as well. I'm not a spoiled brat, but I did sell my oem tires for like 100 bucks total with 50 miles on them (it's near impossible to get rid of the stock tires; everyone knows they suck).
