    Yeah we are kinda in between baby socks and socks that are a couple sizes too big so we settled on footed pj haha it was only 45 ish when we got up so not too cold and we sat in the truck

    Yeah it happens sometimes. I had a primer not go off last year and then made a bad shot when i took off runnin with similar results. But i honestly think hers will make it. Pretty sure she hit way low or in front of the shoulders since it was all white hair

    I don't think I'll ever shoot a deer on the run. And I hate taking uncomfortable shots, but sometimes I find myself sitting awkwardly and there simply isn't a comfortable shot.

    Yeah i shouldnt have shot, it was an ok 8 i wasnt gonna shoot it but it was late in jan and i hadnt seen much and only put 1 doe in the freezer. I was watching it walk in my scope and it stopped broad side with its head up just inside 100 yards and i had my scope on his neck and was gonna drop him and i had a light strike. I thought it snapped so i eased it out and he still stood there but when i bolted another round in he took off and all logice went out the window. I was already in kill mode.

    I know the feeling man. If that big boy stopped a second time Sunday, I would've shot again. I've noticed that southern deer don't have the mass or rack dimensions of deer up here. Of course, Ohio has the real monsters and they're small compared to western deer! But, you can't eat the rack...
