Thanks, buddy. I'll get it ironed out eventually. I only drive about 20 miles a day and I've got my trusty old E39 to get me wherever I need to go.

I'm installing the gauges in the pocket below the a/c controls. 3 on top row, 2 on bottom row. Staggered configuration. They'll be kind of crammed in there if they fit at all. If not, there are tons of other possibilities. Custom pillar pods, custom column trim, custom overhead console etc. I like to tinker with stuff. I'm old car audio head.

The new pump won't mate to the old hose. So you cut the old corrugated one off and replace it with the rubber one and secure it with hose clamps.

I downloaded the SC option. I noticed that it had one that said SC and one that did not say SC.

Yeah, you're going to need that. Starving your engine of fuel, particularly under heavy load, is a wonderful way of needing a new engine.

I'm really having a hard time getting on board with the idea that these issues are NOT tune related. I don't particularly care for the URD fuel pump, but there are many who have installed it and haven't suffered from the same mystery here.

Oh that's right. I forgot you told me.

    Shit.

    This getting older business blows.

I think its primarily tune related. Not upgrading the fuel pump with the 2.85 pulley will only cause problems at times of high demand. I've read that typically a truck with the 2.85 pulley and stock fuel pump just has a dead spot at high rpms and WOT.

The initial hammer drop suffers with stock fp too.... from a stop, or even from low rpm to wot, theres hesitation.
i had that before the pulley..... headers, ypile, intake, mk2 exhaust only.

After the fp swap the lul was gone.

You may not notice it until you do the swap... so saying its not an issue while not actually having done the swap is moot.

It certainly does Have it's lean spots. It runs fine at 6lbs but when it creeps to 8lbs it starts to lean out. If I slowly build boost, the AFR reads 14.5-14.9 which is what I expect. WOT is where I believe the stock fuel pump cannot support the gas. I ordered the pump kit today hoping it will fix this issue.

2007, which is the same motor as you guys. Well I'm done for now, just going to install the SC and see what happens. No one has installed the tune and drove around or attempted to go back to stock with bd so I have nothing to compare against. I'll give you guys an update on Sunday after the sc is installed. If I can't get anywhere next week with the bd last resort would be to call around and see if the dealer would flash it I guess. There's a guy on the fj forums that got his to work but he never ran the fj after programming... seems like I'm the only one. Just would of thought since people drive to the dealer after a the sc installed I would be able to do the flash without the sc installed.

Right now feels like the timing or something is way off, when giving it the skinny pedal while driving gas it just stumbles and doesn't rev up. From what I read on here the tune is basically for the bigger injectors so I'm totally lost.

A daily driver definitely helps. I'm glad I didn't have to rush to get it done over the weekend. I had my truck in my backyard under a pop up tent all week until this morning.

Tested fuel pressure at idle this morning it was right at 50psi. Did not get a chance to test it under boost yet due to it being turkey time.

Maybe this evening once everyone is in their turkey coma.
