I love that hot spring, didn't get to it this trip though. I also like the one up on the hill behind the ranger station in Bridgeport, it's much hotter, but has separate pools of decreasing temp, and still a good view.

Also, the andromeda galaxy had a good show those nights, easy to spot unaided, and spectacular just through binos.

Did a 50mm wide field of it with a tracking mount and managed to get it with M110, M101 and NGC752

That's a purty picture! What are using for your tracking mount and stacking or one long exposure?

That one is just 30 seconds at f/4 ISO 6400, and I was just using an iOptron Skytracker, which is so-so.

We did a Taco Bell feast one year. We had something like 60 tacos and Burritos.

I'm trying to find anyone thats left in the barracks here and see if we can get over the PX. It's like two miles to the PX area, the hospital is hella far from everything which is annoying when you don't have a car.

Nurse case manager i working to put together my packet. Hopefully home mid-december. For some reason Ft. Lewis thinks that '30 days' is a respectable time to complete in processing.

I finished in-processing at Walter Reed in 3 days.

It's almost too stereotypical, I should have known. Oh well. I'm on orders for going to medical appointments, rough life.

You too brother, and thank you! We'll have to grab some Pliny when I'm back.

    23lber on the charcoal.

Not a fan of turkey but it was super juicy and good.

Thankful for warm food in the belly, a strong roof over head, and good friends and family. Hope everybody is having a good day, and remembering those spending today in service and away from family!
