2017 Off Road, V6. The photos are looking down from the front of the engine compartment, passenger side. What is that silver un-bolted tab sitting on top of the frame? Its coming from the rear towards the front, and extending out from the firewall - I can't see it from underneath.

is it loose and flopping around? If not it's probably a tab there for a wiring harness found on other models

Nope - not loose. Maybe for something else, I suppose. Just looks odd sitting there!

It's a ground, for lightning. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it bro. Don't touch it.

That holds the power line for the flux capacitor.

On the future models of course.

They found out the flux capacitor overheated when in the dash.

Chic mag is now located in the center console for better magnetism around the truck.

Ahhhh.... I see. So does that mean I need a relocation kit now for both of those in my 2012? Any home(cheap) mods for doing this?

Sencond gen works fine. Problem seems to be in 3rd gen. They just can't get it to work right.

Are you talking about this thing circled in red?

If so, that's where the O2 sensor wire for the 4 cylinder models clip in. I was out there looking under my hood today and remembered this thread.

So there, an actual answer instead of random shitposting.:boink:

Now that that's settled, back to the shit posting.

It's an adapter to make it easier to do a LS swap.
