    Hey guys,

I need a great window tinting shop in N. Atlanta. The one that I have used for years is no longer around. Looking to get 20% matching all the way around for a reasonable price.

There is a place on hwy 41 in Cobb county called custom sun control. Even living out of state I still get my tints done there when I drive back to GA on occasion. The best tint I've ever had by far. Not the cheapest, but th absolute best.

So yeah I used them many many years ago and they were great. I stopped by today to get some pricing and wouldnt you know it they are closed. Looks to be open during the week but not on Saturday. Don't know if I will be able to get anything done with them if that is the case.

Are you NE, or NW? I'm in Gwinnett and have a friend who is persnickety as hell about his cars, and always has his windows tinted. I'm sure he has a good recommendation. If you're over this way I'll ask him who he uses.

I've had good results from Solar Works in Cumming, right off the square.

It is not north Atlanta. But if you don't mind a trip on 285, Glass Tiger Tinting in Lilburn really is amazing. My .02 is to have them install their ceramic tint. http://www.glasstigertinting.com/home

Appearance Center in Snellville. Hands down best tinting around. Have had three cars done thus far. Flawless with no streaks. Anything below limit in GA bring cash for. PM if you need more details

Old thread, but I found the info helpful. Going to go to glass tiger next week to get my front windows matched up with the factory tint in the rear and a sun strip.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
I realize that this thread is older but if anyone still needs a recommendation, my family uses The Tint Guy in Woodstock. Has done over 10 vehicles for us. Can match factory perfectly and all work warrantied for life.

If you ever wear polarized sunglasses you can see the difference between crappy tint film and a quality film.

Back in NY i had a cousin working tinting windows. He did real high cars with snob owners ( lambo kinda cars). I had a cheap tint put on my tacoma after i first got it. its started to fade, turn purple and you could see an almost cheetah effect to the film with sun glasses on. I had his shop replace it. Like 5 years later no fading, no spotting!

I had my company van tinted this summer at The Tint Guy in woodstock. nice job, but im not so sure about the quality of the film...... cheetah pattern.

If i had to do it again, for the work van id go with the ceramic stuff for heat resistance and less for shade.
