    One of the fires was less than 1 mile from my parents house by the way the crow flys, but its been extinguished thankfully.. But alot of my brothers in red have been fighting the North GA ones and the ones in Natahalah NC for weeks now. Its getting really bad. I took a pt to the hospital the other day in Franklin NC, and you could see the haze of smoke in the hospital. If anyone has spare prayers to send pray for the FF, and forest service that are out there fighting these. Most of them have been arson.

    I am the bad Santa. I haven't gotten anything yet, but it's early yet. Not expecting anything any time soon.

    The only problem is that my giftee is a (throwing up in my mouth a little here) Patriots fan. Urgh. It's hard to live with myself at the moment. I'M CONFLICTED.

    Tomorrow, though. Gonna hook them up tomorrow.

    No fires here in greenville but the smoke is here most days. I was on vacation last week and on the way down the smoke reached as far south as lagrange ga. When I hit ATL I couldn't believe it was smokey there too. a bunch of the low country sc guys say it's smokey there too. I hope we can end this 100 day drought soon!
