I tore a CV boot hossing my truck around. I want to get an entire CV axel assembly to replace the damaged one and later rebuild it and have a factory spare. I also am 600 miles from home and may not be able to source a factory replacement easily.

Has anyone had good luck with aftermarket replacement CV axel assembly's? Or should I stick with stock?

I sure would not want to change one of these away from home unless I had no other options

Unless your working or stationed that far away

I put a set of Napa New CV axles in my 2000 so far so good might be 2 years now

I work oilfield, so just temporally away from home. I've read on TW that the Napa replacements have had good reviews and there's a store not too far away, I think that's my best option being in such a rural area for now.
