I started a thread in the suspension forum just wondering if you guys have any insight on this setup...
King OEM shocks along with 2.75" Dakars.
I have searched and I am still unclear if this setup will work. Specifically will the OEM King shocks length work with the 2.75" of lift that the Dakars provide?
    Thank you

They'll work but I recommend going with extended rod ends on the kings.

If anyone missed that black Friday deal on the shackles I got some from this Amazon seller, 13$ for two galvanized coating, or 15$ for two in black, and colors like blue and red . it's not prime but is free shipping, ships from in the USA, I received mine in 4 days.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00QSNZJGI/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1&th=1

Also 4wdparts is having a sale on a 2" x 20' smittybilt 20k lb tow strap, 9.99. The sale shows up in the cart. 6$ shipping but free to pickup. I found this in a different thread. good Xmas present.

    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Winches-...p.aspx?t_c=18&t_s=190&t_pt=5083&t_pn=S/BCC220

Buy one get one free on smittybilt shackles on 4wdparts, plus hitch mounted recovery point with shackle for 20$

    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Winches-....aspx?t_c=18&t_s=190&t_pt=5081&t_pn=S/B29312B

If you don't have one of these yet, this is a good price. I'm not sure how long the sale goes, the sale price shows up in the cart

Yeah I'm not super stoked with my wet okoles. Wore a hole in the driver side cover within a year. But they have taken a beating. I would love to go clazzio or katskin, but dog...

Auto anything. Bought Monday, arrived thurs.

I've had mine in the Tacoma for a few years now and I absolutely love them. Dog, kids, my muddy dirty self, pull em off and wash em and they're good as new. Dog hair vacuums right up, water beads off them (unless you dump a gallon on them)

And they're hella comfy. No swamp ass (wet okoles) no cold-as-fuck in the morning, Africa-hot in the sun (leather) and relatively affordable as far as seat covers go...

IMG_3374.jpg IMG_3376.jpg Jesus I suggest a second person when installing getting the bumper on with the winch in it was quite the chore solo lol. But it's on I'll take pics tomorrow. I made a bracket and mounted the controller sideways that took the longest.
