does any one have a can back soft top on there 3rd gen?? if so any pictures?? I am about to buy a softopper, but in the back of my mind I keep wandering if the can back is worth the extra $$ in the long run?? I don't really need the easy fold down of the softopper. the ability for racks on the can back is pretty cool too....... any thoughts?? thanks,,

If you saw a can back on that thread you can message the owner and he can tell you all about it. Or maybe they are not happy with there can backs is why they are not answering your thread.

Can backs are back in production for 2nd and 3rd gens...I was waiting for them to start making ones for 1st gens again but they aren't :( Love the way they look.

Can Back > Softopper > Bestop

I'm pretty sure I'm just going to go with the softopper.. they seem really nice and I have not heard any really bad things about them.. just good things. is the rear window able to be replaced if it cracks with out getting a whole top? the can back is up to $1999.00 for the 3rd gen, that's hard shell kind of money!!!

Ya, I hadn't heard of them till this thread. Got excited and saw the price. For that money, I would think a rack system and softop or something. If I was to spend two grand, I would consider snug top over this.

yeah the can back seems nice but 2k for canvas and some bent steal tube is just crazy... you could almost go through three softopper's for that $$
