Hey guys, I'm a new member from Louisiana and this is my first Toyota. I wanted to introduce my self and truck to the community. I have a '17 TRD Sport with Manual trans. I have a Toytec 3" lift with 2.5 coil overs front and a add a leaf with shim in the rear plus 2.5 shocks. I'm running Camburg uca's and Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires 285/70/17 on Method Racing wheels 17x8.5 with 4.75 back space. My alignment is set... toe 0, camber 0, and caster 3.0. I love my truck but I am still getting some good rubbing. I already shaved some from my cab mounts and a little from the rear of my front fenders. Does anyone have any pics of how much the had to trim with that tire size that runs their trucks in the woods and articulates their suspension? Thanks for any and all input.

My shop has the alignment shop adjust the caster more forward away from the cab mount. I have roughly the same size wheels any only had to remove the very outside corner of the cab mount and mud flaps. The front wheel well got the heat gun treatment.

I grinded some more and used the heat gun trick for my plastic inner fender and the rubbing has gotten a ton better

Thats what you get for putting Semi-Truck tires on a Tacoma.

I never thought 33's were considered big in the Offroad community so for my Tacoma they were a minimum/must.

3" lift 285/75/16 4.5 backspacing and 3.5 caster. I've stuffed my tires all the way to the top of the wheel well with a full turn and still rubs on the body mount.

TacoRD16 does your truck wonder much at higher speeds with your caster at 3.5?

I've had no issues with wondering but on super smooth and flat roads going 85 mph I can feel a slow movement of the steering wheel left and right.
