Damn. I was fortunate enough to do here in Texas on a concrete drive. but I did get into a fight on that type of gravel parking lot. I was all cut up.

Morning gents...back at it again. Got a 2 hour drive north, punch a bunch of corner and brace holes, load back up and bring all the gear back. Figuring about a 13 hour day...that 2 hour drive back home is the ball buster.

so today it's off to work at the bike shop and then church this evening. Will get home about 7. Haven't worked there but maybe several hours in the last 3 weeks, but got called about today (guess the college kids went home for T-giving). I'm ambivalent, the dog is excited. She likes the customers, guess I would too if I could greet some of them the same way she does. Weather is much cooler today, but back to 70 by Tues and Wed. Hope all you fine peeps have a great Saturday.

Good morning and happy Friday, going to the river today and see if I can shoot some eagles. Supposed to get up into the 40's today but would never know it right now.

Glad that turned out fairly well for you, and a lot less stress in your life. They say stress can kill a person but it seems like it is always part of life. At least if you live life instead of just sit by on a fence. Sounds like your son knows just how important you are to him in his life, that is awesome IMO.

That sounds too familiar to me, frozen fingers and toes trying to work on vehicles is no joy anymore. At the base auto hobby shop in Bremerton Wa. in the early 80's dropped the tranny\transfer case on my FJ55 and had a quarter ton tranny jack under it. Shop was heated and had all the tools and only cost a dollar a day back then. Crusty old timer that ran the shop came over and told me that the tranny and transfer case were too heavy for the quarter ton jack but it was all they had. I pulled the last bolt and next thing I knew was trying to bench press almost a half ton. Rolled it off me and was welcomed to my first hernia. Old guy came running over and started yelling at me that I blew the seal on the jack and now I owed him a new tranny jack. As I was rolling around on the floor feeling like Godzilla had just kicked me in the groin. Yep those were the days. Or not!

    Nice guy.
My elbow still hurts at times from dropping a turbo 400 trans on it. It slipped of trans jack and I didn't have the strap around it.30 years later and still hurts.

    Morning...

And the wife says to me... "I have an appointment, I'll be home in a couple of hours. Be ready to go back to Home Depot, when I get home."

Holy, mother of God! I just spent 12 grand there yesterday! I sure hope today is just ironing out the "details".

I miss biking the Colonial Parkway. My first wife and I bought a couple of entry level Treks from a small shop off of York St/Pocahontas trail back in the 80's. Went thru many tires with them.

    Morning everyone

Drastic temp change from yesterday's near 80 deg temps and clear skies . Today won't get above 70 degrees and we've got storms stacked up off the coast

We've got rain forecasted for this afternoon and heavy at times also snow level down under 3k ft so might see some white stuff by tomorrow morning . Tomorrow the same weather pattern cold and wet !!!

Today in search of a rare and elusive part for my truck . It's the hard to find Method Racing NV 305 bronze wheels , should look nice against the Impulse Red Pearl paint of my truck

Nice relaxing day so far in this part of the country. Rain finally let up, just cloudy and cool at about 47f. Ate and visited with the wife's family while they were here and all went well.

Late yesterday the mail lady showed up with some truck toys. Now I just have to dig out some primer and paint before install. Nothing big just some Relentless bed corner brackets. They are beefy and yes, I will get pictures once I do the work. One other thing, if you haven't dealt with the Relentless crew have no fears. I totally messed up the order, got a phone call because they recognized the error, got it straightened out, refunded moneys, and received the product in great time. It was very nice to get that type of customer service with laughter and no stress. It was truly refreshing.
