Are you blaming the salesman for not talking you out of a purchase that you should've done your own research on?
Also along with your explanation you are only assuming that a certain tire and load range is used for single specific purpose.

Sorry, just replying to other posts on this thread about the issue and trying to set the record straight. I didn't realize only certain people were allowed to get off topic... My bad.

Yep, I am blaming the salesman, for ordering the wrong tire as suggested. Not for the reason you just assumed. Also, I was unaware that I had to do my own research when going to a professional place to buy tires were people should be trained to do such things so i don't have to do my own research. I mean I'm a consumer, that is what I pay these people for. If I walk into a store and say "I want this size tire in this brand" they should just order the right ones, right?

Of course Im assuming a certain tire and load range, because that is the subject matter. If anyone want a different scenario feel free change the parameters of my explanation. You can find them on your door sticker and from tire manufacturers.

I think the reason most people join this forum is because the majority of members on here do extensive research on anything they put on their truck. In my opinion this website is a great research tool in itself. Many of the mods and parts I've thrown at my truck were influenced by other members' research and reviews.

I didn't assume anything. I went off what you said. If you wanna put your trust alone in the dude at discount making $10/hour then don't be upset when things go wrong. You should've double checked, or done your own research. What's the saying...if you want something done right..

If anybody is looking for five of these, I've got my 2011 spare that never saw the ground. I'll kick it in with this set for $30!

Would anyone want to purchase my high clearance rear bumper/tire carrier that I built a few months ago? I am thinking about building a new one a different style so it matches the front bumper I'm about to build.
It has a few scratches on the bottom from Moab that I will refinish and repaint.
