Very interested, I live in California so it never gets too cold out here which is why I'm on the fence. Could you break down what would be the best setup for ~30°-50°? Also curious what the shipping would be to 94520. Great story about your son!

ESP Lockable Rear Seat Storage, MobTown Lockable Bed Hatches, lots of cool Mobtown products (Rear Bumper, complete set of 1/4" steel skid plates, sliders), Old Man Suspension and a bunch of other practical off-road tools to bulletproof my truck...
    Here's the breakdown:

The 4- Part US Military Modular Sleep System includes:

    * Bivy Cover Bag - GORE-TEX® breathable/waterproof in Woodland Camouflage. This bivy will allow you to sleep in full out rain or in the snow and stay dry.

    * Patrol Sleeping Bag - rated for 30-50°F, can be used with the Bivy Bag in cold/wet conditions.

    * Intermediate Sleeping Bag - is rated for +30 to -10°F or more, can be used with the Bivy Bag and/or inserted into the Patrol Bag.

*If you use the complete setup you can sleep comfortably at about -30°F/-35°F

Thank you very much...I am very proud of what he has done.

Cost for shipping (By way of UPS - USPS would be way too expensive)...UPS $23.65 - USPS - $40.00

    Based on 22630 to 94520 13"x13"x13" - 11 Pounds

...I did find a XL Bivy cover recently that is in pretty good shape. I have not listed it yet...It would go for $65

Just wanted to check back in Bob. Bought 2 systems earlier this year, have used them all over the Western US this summer / fall. Everybit as great as I remember them being when I was in the Corps.

    Thanks again!

I have a few more of these sleep sets left and it is looking bad for a resupply in the future at this time...

I have this exact sleep system. Same one I used in winter survival school. Too heavy to pack on a hike but great for just camping. I wouldn't trade this setup for anything else when used for truck camping and base camping. Hope that you and your son have continued success with the business. It's an honorable thing that you're doing.

I agree about the weight for backpacking (although most people only use parts of the kit (i.e. patrol bag and bivy cover) for most backpacking uses. I carry one for each family member in my truck, they compact down in the stuff sack to a 12"x12" ball shape or 14"x 8" tube...

Thank you so much for your well wishes...My 12 year old son is the reason for our continued success. He works hard at this and is very particular about the products we offer.
