Here’s some pics of my custom Toyota emblem I just finished making for my T-Rex polished billet grill for my SR5.

The mounting plate is 2.98” wide x 12.40” long and attaches to the grill with two ½” diameter mounting spacers that bolt to the plate and fit thru the bars on the grill. The mounting plate is clamped to the grill with two captive aluminum clamp plates on the backside that bridge across two of the grill bars. The mounting plate, spacers and clamp plates are powder coated semi gloss black.

I ordered the chromed plastic letters online which cost $18 shipped. They have a nice domed face which I feel makes them look better than if they were just flat. I think I'm going to make up another plate with TACOMA on it so I can switch back and forth when I want to.

I’m please with how it turned out and how well it compliments the grill, and it’s just the right size IMHO with it not being too big or too small.

If the OP likes it then that's what matters. Not my thing, but so what.

I wouldn't do it but it is very clean... I do like their black grill like that.

Where do you live man... nice background.

    Don't worry about the others...
