Hi there. I just leased my first truck (if you don't count my Sequoia) and I'm a bit worried about my engine. Mechanic at the dealer says you feel everything in a truck and it needs to be warn in. It feels like it shifts gears too soon, losing RPMs and it also sometimes feels like either the torque is failing or there's a misfire. It's not terrible, only feel it between 35 & 50 mph and is intermittent. I think they aren't listening because I'm a girl. 2017 SR5. The engine purrs when idling and at steady speeds, plenty of power if I push the gas. He says I won't feel it anymore at 1500 miles, but by that point I'm roped into the 3-year lease. Any thoughts?

Thanks, guys. The mechanic drove the truck, but it didn't do it while he had it.
